Rob Ryder selected to be Master Teaching Scholar
Dr. Rob Ryder, Director of the Basic Language Program in German has been selected to be one of the inaugural group of Master Teaching Scholars in UIC's new Center for the Advancement of Teaching-Learning Communities. The TLC will be appointing 12 MTSs this year, selected from all of the undergraduate-serving colleges across the university.
"TLC’s vision is to promote and develop the growth of faculty as teachers of UIC’s diverse student body… TLC’s mission is to facilitate the development of, and participation in, various learning communities where faculty engage in curricular, instructional, and assessment innovation, including technological advancements, to improve student learning, and especially undergraduate student success in the early years."
