Audre Lorde: The Berlin Years (Screening and Discussion)

The UIC campus will be the site of a program that focuses on the African-American poet and feminist activist Audre Lorde’s Berlin years and her influence on the Afro-German movement there. The program includes a screening of the documentary Audre Lorde: The Berlin Years and discussion with the filmmaker Dagmar Schultz and author Ika Hügel-Marshall.
