Lee Rivers, Assistant Manager of Outreach for the Institute of International Education (IIE)

Established immediately after WWII, the Fulbright Program fosters mutual understanding among nations through educational and cultural exchange. The U.S. Student Program awards  approximately 1,800 grants annually in over 155 countries worldwide. Students typically spend a year conducting research, teaching English or carrying out an arts oriented project. Applicants must be US citizens who hold a bachelor’s degree by the beginning of the grant period. Lee Rivers, a representative from Fulbright will discuss the opportunities available, application process, benefits of participation and answer questions.
