“Scanning Landscape: Notes on the Politics and Economy of the Pan”

Thursday, November 29th, 6:30 pm.

The Chicago Film Seminar will feature a talk by Volker Pantenburg, Assistant Professor for Visual Media with emphasis on research in moving image at the Faculty of Media at the Bauhaus University Weimar and currently Max Kade Visiting Professor of Germanic Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

He will discuss “Scanning Landscape: Notes on the Politics and Economy of the Pan” with a response by Daniel Eiseneberg, Professor of Film, Video, New Media and Animation at SAIC.

The talk will be held at DePaul’s Loop Campus in the Daley Building at 14 E. Jackson Blvd. (at State St.), Room LL 102.
