Book Published in Series Edited by Imke Meyer Receives MLA Prize
Silke-Maria Weineck’s The Tragedy of Fatherhood: King Laius and the Politics of Paternity in the West (Bloomsbury 2014) was honored this month with the Modern Language Association’s Aldo and Jeanne Scaglione Prize for Comparative Literary Studies. The book was published in Bloomsbury’s New Directions in German Studies series, which is edited by Imke Meyer (Department of Germanic Studies). Our congratulations go out to the University of Michigan’s Silke-Maria Weineck for her brilliant accomplishment.
