Congratulations to Phil Cabeen!
Please join us in congratulating Phill Cabeen (PhD candidate in the Department of Germanic Studies) on being awarded a prestigious one-year research grant from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in support of his dissertation project, "Neue Deutsche Welle: Ambivalence and Reparation." Phill will have the opportunity to explore a variety of archives and work again with Dr. Christoph Rauen, former Max Kade Visiting Professor in our department, at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel.
