PhD candidate Katarzyna Kowalczyk receives fellowship
Germanic Studies PhD candidate Katarzyna Kowalczyk has been awarded a fellowship to participate in the eighteenth annual Summer Institute on the Holocaust and Jewish Civilization, a joint project of The Holocaust Educational Foundation and Northwestern University.
This renowned program is an intensive two-week course of study designed to broaden and deepen the background of current and prospective Holocaust educators. It is open to faculty at the college or university level and to graduate students who are pursuing a PhD. Approximately 25 Fellows are selected annually. The institute will take place from June 23-July 3, 2013 in Evanston, Illinois.
