Jonathan Tillotson Receives DAAD Grant
Jonathan Tillotson, a Ph.D. student in the Germanic Studies department, has just received a prestigious DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) grant to conduct research in Germany for five months beginning October 1. He will be in Wolfenbuettel (at Lessing's library) conducting research for his dissertation on small pox, autobiography and modern subjectivity in eighteenth-century Germany.
