About
I completed my BA in English Translation Studies in Iran, followed by an MA in German Literature. I completed my thesis titled “Identität und Migration in der Deutschen Literatur des 21. Jahrhunderts” focusing on the literary depiction of identity crisis experienced by immigrants in the works of authors with migration background. My focus is on literary works (mostly novels) of the 21. Century since they are more capable of accommodating the relation between identity and migration. I am also interested in concepts of Heimat and infancy of experience and how it can lead to a new identity development.
